Welcome to Streamhand (https://thestreamhand.com), the Streamhand mobile application, and any other websites, applications, or services that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the "Service"), which are operated by Streamhand LLC ("Streamhand," "we," "us," or "our").

Streamhand values the privacy of the users, subscribers, and others who visit and use the Service (collectively or individually, "you" or "Users") and wants you to be familiar with how we collect, use, and disclose information from and about you.

By creating a Streamhand account or using the Service, you expressly consent to the information handling practices described in this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy applies to our collection and use of your personal information (i.e., information that identifies a specific person, such as full name or email address). It also describes generally our practices for handling non-personal information (for example, usage data and service analytics).

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you register for Streamhand, you provide us with personal information such as your name and email address. If you register through a third-party authentication provider (such as Google or Apple), we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from that provider for authentication purposes. We do not receive or store your password from third-party authentication providers.

Payment Information

If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. Streamhand does not directly collect, store, or process your credit card number or full payment details. Stripe handles your payment information in accordance with their own privacy policy. We receive from Stripe limited information such as the last four digits of your card, card type, expiration date, and billing address to display on your account and for record-keeping.

Streaming Configuration Data

When you use Streamhand's restreaming service, we collect and store:

Ingest stream URLs and stream keys you configure
Output destination configurations (RTMP/SRT endpoints you add)
Fallback media you upload for disconnect protection
Stream session metadata (start time, duration, connection status)

Stream content (the actual video and audio you stream) passes through our infrastructure in real time and is not recorded or stored by Streamhand, except for fallback media you explicitly upload.

Mobile App Data

When you use the Streamhand mobile app, we may collect:

Device information (device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers)
Meta glasses pairing and connection data, collected through Meta's Wearables Device Access Toolkit (WDAT) SDK

Meta's WDAT SDK may collect additional data as described in Meta's privacy policy. We encourage you to review Meta's privacy practices for information about how they handle data collected through their SDK.

Automatically Collected Information

When you access the Service, we may automatically collect certain information, including:

Internet Protocol (IP) address
Device type and browser type
Referring and exit pages
Pages and features you access within the Service
Dates and times of your visits

We use Cloudflare for hosting and security. Cloudflare may collect basic analytics data (such as page views, visitor counts, and geographic distribution) as part of their service. This data is aggregated and does not personally identify you. For more information, see Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies necessary for the operation of the Service, such as session cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
Process your transactions and manage your subscription
Authenticate your identity and manage your account
Send you service-related communications (such as account verification, billing notifications, and service updates)
Monitor and analyze usage patterns to improve the Service
Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, and security concerns

We do not use your email address or other personal information to send marketing messages without your consent. You may opt in or opt out of promotional communications at any time.

How We Share Your Information

Streamhand does not sell your personal information to third parties.

We may share your information in the following circumstances:

Service Providers: We share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, including:

Stripe (payment processing)
Cloudflare (hosting, security, and analytics)

These providers are authorized to use your information only as necessary to provide their services to us and are required to protect your information.

Legal Compliance: We may disclose your information if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to:

Comply with applicable laws, regulations, or legal processes
Respond to a court order, subpoena, or government request
Protect the rights, property, or safety of Streamhand, our users, or others

Business Transfers: If Streamhand is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.

Your Choices

Account Information: You may update or correct your personal information at any time by accessing your account settings on the Service.

Account Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at support@thestreamhand.com. Upon receiving your request, we will delete your account and personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain information by law.

Communication Preferences: You may opt out of promotional emails by following the unsubscribe link in any such email. You will continue to receive essential service communications related to your account.

Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include encryption of data in transit, access controls, and secure infrastructure provided by Cloudflare.

However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information. Any data you transmit to Streamhand is at your own risk.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as resolving disputes or enforcing our agreements).

Streaming configuration data (ingest URLs, output destinations, stream keys) is deleted when you remove it from your account or when your account is deleted.

Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@thestreamhand.com.

International Users

Streamhand is operated from the United States. If you are accessing the Service from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country. By using the Service, you consent to such transfer, storage, and processing.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, you may have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, and the right to restrict or object to certain processing. Beta and Early Access

Streamhand is currently available through beta and early access programs (including Apple TestFlight and Google Play closed testing). During this period, the Service may change, and our data practices may be updated accordingly. We will notify you of material changes to this Privacy Policy.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting the updated policy on the Service and updating the "Last modified" date at the top. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
