Stream from Ray-Ban Meta Glasses to Any Platform

Ray-Ban Meta glasses only stream to Facebook and Instagram natively. The Streamhand iOS app lets you stream from your glasses to Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, or any RTMP destination. Just connect, pick your destination, and go live.

Before you start
- Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses connected to your phone
- Meta AI app installed on your iPhone
- Streamhand installed through TestFlight on your iPhone
- A Streamhand account for paid features like disconnect protection and multistreaming
Enable Developer Mode
Open the Meta AI app, tap the menu button, then open Settings. Go to App Info, tap the app version 10 times quickly, and enable Developer Mode when prompted.
Install Streamhand
On iPhone, Streamhand is currently installed through TestFlight because the glasses video feed uses Meta beta features. Open the Streamhand TestFlight link, install Streamhand, and accept the camera, microphone, and glasses permissions.
Connect your glasses
Wear your glasses and confirm they are connected to your phone. In Streamhand, continue through the glasses setup. When the Meta AI app opens, allow Streamhand to use the glasses.
After approval, you will return to Streamhand.
Select glasses as camera source
On the home screen, tap the camera icon in the top right corner. A dropdown appears with three options:
- Front Camera
- Back Camera
- Meta Glasses
Select Meta Glasses. The live preview switches to your glasses feed. The first few seconds may be laggy before the feed settles.
Go live to Twitch or another platform
Tap Go Live. Enter the RTMP server URL and stream key for Twitch, YouTube, Kick, TikTok, or another destination.
Adjust the stream settings:
- Resolution: 720p or 1080p
- Bitrate: 500 to 6000 Kbps (default 2500)
Tap Go Live. The app connects to your destination and starts broadcasting the glasses feed.
Use background streaming and paid features
The stream can continue while your phone is locked or while Streamhand is in the background. Basic streaming is free with no watermark.
With a paid account, you can add disconnect protection so viewers see a reconnecting screen during network drops, and you can multistream to multiple destinations at once.
Troubleshooting
Glasses show "Not Connected"
- Confirm your glasses are paired in iPhone Bluetooth settings.
- Go to Settings in the app and tap Register Glasses to retry the registration.
- If registration fails, try Re-register (disconnects and reconnects).
Preview shows front camera instead of glasses
- Tap the camera icon (top right) and verify Meta Glasses is selected.
- If the glasses disconnected, the app automatically falls back to the front camera. Reconnect and reselect.
Stream fails to start
- Verify your RTMP URL and stream key are correct.
- Check your internet connection (Wi-Fi or cellular with sufficient upload bandwidth).
