Stream from Ray-Ban Meta Glasses to Any Platform

Ray-Ban Meta glasses only stream to Facebook and Instagram natively. The Streamhand iOS app lets you stream from your glasses to Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, or any RTMP destination. Just connect, pick your destination, and go live.

Before you start

  • Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses connected to your phone
  • Streamhand iOS app installed on your iPhone
  • A Streamhand account

1

Open the app and sign in

Launch the Streamhand app. Tap the menu icon (top left) to open Settings, then tap Sign In. Enter your email and password to connect your account.

Signing in lets you save streaming destinations and access Pro features like multi-destination restreaming.

2

Connect your glasses

On first launch, you will see an onboarding screen with the heading "Connect your glasses." Tap Connect Glasses.

The native Meta pairing dialog appears. Follow the prompts to register your glasses with the app. The status transitions from "Connecting..." to "Connected."

If you skipped onboarding, you can connect your glasses at any time from Settings by tapping Register Glasses.
3

Select glasses as camera source

On the home screen, tap the camera icon in the top right corner. A dropdown appears with three options:

  • Front Camera
  • Back Camera
  • Meta Glasses

Select Meta Glasses. The live preview switches to your glasses feed.

If the glasses disconnect during a stream, the app automatically falls back to the front camera so your broadcast continues uninterrupted.
4

Add a streaming destination

Go to Settings, then tap Manage Destinations. Tap Add and fill in:

  • Name (e.g. "YouTube")
  • Platform (YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or Custom)
  • RTMP URL from your chosen platform
  • Stream Key from your chosen platform

Tap Add Destination to save.

5

Configure and go live

Back on the home screen, tap Go Live at the bottom of the screen.

Select your saved destination (or enter RTMP details manually). Adjust the stream settings:

  • Resolution: 720p or 1080p
  • Bitrate: 500 to 6000 Kbps (default 2500)

Tap GO LIVE. The app connects to your destination and begins broadcasting your glasses feed.

6

Stop streaming

When you are done, tap Stop Stream on the home screen. The RTMP connection closes and the button returns to Go Live.
